The Art of the Transformation
Born on February 13, 1975, in Laredo, Texas, to an American mother and a Mexican father, Tony Dalton grew up immersed in two cultures and two languages that would forever shape his understanding of art and complex characters. He spent his formative years in Mexico City, absorbing the richness of Latin American theater and film.
He trained at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, where he perfected the Method acting technique. His first steps on stage were in off-Broadway productions—"A Streetcar Named Desire," "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"—where he developed the emotional depth that defines his work to this day.
Throughout his more than two-decade career, he has moved with equal mastery between Mexican independent cinema, theater, and major Hollywood productions. He is an actor, screenwriter, and producer—a complete creator who not only inhabits characters but also helps bring them to life from their inception.
